Well the factory does not stop even for Christmas, I was running low on Green Apple. So, yesterday I worked up a 10 lb batch that is curing in the molds until tomorrow. It is a very nice soap, using Avocado Butter, which makes for a nice creamy lather. The Apple Jack Peel fragrance smell of crisp green apples with a hint of spice.
This soap has been quite popular so this last batch will bring my inventory level back up to about 30 5.4 oz bars.
Stay tuned I am still work on a Facial soap that utilizes Rice Bran oil, an old Asian favorite for helping with wrinkles and overall skin appearance.

Rice Bran Oil

There is a new buzz about Rice Bran Oil which has been used in Asia for many years as a Health and Beauty aid. I am starting research on this and intend to come up with a new receipe for a facial soap containing Rice Bran Oil. I will announce it when I have a batch completed, wish me luck!

I have been seeing some interest in the Website that was introduced last week. It is really pretty neat to be able to sell over the Web. The word of mouth and support from friends, neighbors and alike has been great.

I am so excited. I processed my 1st Web Soap order yesterday and everything worked! I only had one glitch! The box I had been planning to use for 6 bars only fits 4 bars so back to the drawing board on this one.
I will be mixing up a new batch of sandalwood vanilla today or tomorrow since I am out of stock :)

Mary's Green and Clean Handcrafted Soap Web Launch

Today I will be launching my new Web Page and shopping cart for my handcrafted soap business. Paul has been very instrumental in getting my site up and running, thanks Paul! He is very Technical!
I am starting with 12 varieties of soap. I can and will accept any recipe ideas including special oils and/or butters as well as requests for specific fragrances or scents.
